Such a dope track. I hope Dre and Cube eventually make the album. SEIZURE WARNING FOR THE VIDEO
They both have too big of egos. I think both of them still deep down hold a grudge against each other going back to the NWA break up. Both of these guys make music for fun. Why wouldn't they collaborate? They haven't done something since Hello. Actually I think cube was on Compton, but that album sucked so I don't remember (anyways, I don't count that one). I mean, Dre has got to have dozens, if not hundreds of beats laying around. He can't give one to cube? Cube can't feature dre on his album?Like I said, I don't think these 2 ever got past whatever happened with NWA. I think they both think they were the biggest part of NWA and can't take a seat to the other person.

Man wtf?Why would they hold a grudge against each other, literally nothing ever implied that....Cube was signed to Aftermath at one point ffs, they've done a movie together, worked on several albums, went on the most iconic hip hop tour together, put out a bunch of records (don't trip, issues, chin check, hello)They totally don't hate each other lol
who said they hate each other? I said they still deep down hold a grudge. They absolutely can do all those things you listed while still holding a grudge. And they certainly didn't put out a bunch of records. You listed 4. In 30 years, 4 records. That doesn't exactly scream best friends. It is one thing if they were both not super rich and still trying to make it for themselves, and their time was super limited in the things they decide to do. Or if they had to pay for studio time and had to be careful who they collaborate with. But that isn't the case at all. Dre doesn't even seem to care about making money off music as he is so rich. So why can't they get together a bit more often to make some classic music? What is stopping that collaboration? IMO, what is stopping it is both refusing to reach out to each other and ask for help/ a favor.
first of all, they were never close friends to begin with this forum has this idea that just because artists are in a group together or collaborate consistently, that means they must be close friends in real lifenot the case... ice cube has his hands full... u think he wants to just go hang out and make music with dre for fun when he's got businesses, movies, tours, his own music etc to worry about on a daily basis? i promise you, this doesn't mean they're holding a grudge lol
What exactly do you call the Man Down and Man Up albums? If anything business-wise those would be a write-off loss. I'm sure cube didn't make money on those albums in this day in age. So if he has time to make albums, yes, I'm sure he has time to rap over a dre beat. LMAO - you act like it takes longer to rap over a dre beat than it takes to rap over someone else's beat. I'm not saying they need to be in the studio crafting an entire album together. I'm saying, why can't dre throw a few unused beats at cube?
Between 2006 and 2024 Snoop and Dre only done 3 records together. You think they held a grudge against each other during that time for some reason too? That's not an indication of anything, especially when Dre is notorious for not releasing music and when had collaborated in other ways.
What? There's at least 6 songs they released in that time period."Boss Life""Round Here""Imagine""Kush""One Shot, One Kill""Satisfiction"Dre also mixed "I Wanna Rock". There's also the unreleased Most Westmore song with a Dre verse. They probably worked on hundreds of songs between that time, but they never came out.
