While Jamal went to Def Squad & tha east coast

Malik was with tha row and was dissin Jamal

Any Background Stories why Malik wasnt wnd isnt around since what?

His verse on 2Pac "There U Go" was ass.

Was surprised to find out he worked with Pac

So Malik was still there  shen Pac came to da Row.

"With this track got'cha open, poetical graffiti

Lyrics to test drugs like P-C-P
And I ain′t lie till I die D-P-G-C"

He was working with Warren G in 96, and in the CD liner notes, Malik did NOT appear courtesy of Death Row records.  To my knowledge he was never signed to them.

His single "Malik Goes On" was good, too bad his album got shelved, could've been a classic, especially if he had some guest spots from Warren G and DPG.

He released an album in 2004 called "The Game Needs Me" and it sucked.  It's on youtube if you wanna listen to it.  There's a song on there dissing Lil Bow Wow, so he must've had some issue with him, i don't know.  I couldn't even get through the song it was so bad.

He dissed Jermaine Dupri Kriss Kross Chi Ali & Da Youngstas

The issue with Bow Wow was jealousy Malik wasnt gettin the attention and felt blackballed because his skin is more darker than bow bow hdnce "Hershey" locc.

Do you know how old this interview is?

I always thought it was strange how he was featured on Death Row, Snoop, DPG and Warren's albums then just stopped working with them all together.

Last time I remember seeing him active was when he was signed to Sick Wid It where he featured on some albums and his album was listed as coming soon but then he disappeared.

Dude's gotta be pushing 50, probably a grandfather by now and has moved on to other interests.

Not singling you out, but i think it's funny how rap fans think rappers are supposed to stay in the game forever.  He rapped when he was younger, ultimately grew old and decided to do other things.  Nothing wrong with that.  The same fans also complain when old rappers like Dre and Cube are still rapping.  It's a lose/lose situation.

The interview is from 2020 and he mentions several times releasing new music so doesn't look like he had moved on from rapping.
