The series is based on aesthetics from Tommy The Animator, who is co-creator alongside rapper-actor Ice-T. The pair are attached as producers and exec producers alongside Dre, Snoop and Arabian Prince, who was a founder member of N.W.A.

Rap icons Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Arabian Prince are collaborating with producer Ambitious Entertainment for gritty animated action series, Tehk City.

The show is billed as a “high-octane animated neo-noir” that “unfolds in a brutal, near-future penal colony where every choice is life or death, chaos reigns and only the ruthless survive.”


 “Tehk City is one of those rare projects that came together through the collaboration of an exceptional team,” added Ambitious Entertainment’s Shaw, whose credits include The Hurt Locker and Blood Ties. “We’re creating a world only animation could capture, where morality is a luxury and the visual style is as fierce as the story itself.”

Ambitious is looking at a multi-platform release for Tehk City next year, with discussions underway with domestic and international distributors and steamers.
