Why credit as 'The Hospital'

One of Quik's episodes when he was mad at Dre (U Ain't Fresh) and it's a dig at him like Quik is the true "Doctor" of production.  Hence produced and recorded at 'the hospital'...AKA Can Am.  Course Quik was his best friend again when Dre let him produce some stuff with him for Truth Hurts and Put It On Me not too long after.

So do you know if Quik specifically made this beat with Top Dogg in mind and was for this actual song?  Or did Quik just get hired to make some beats around that time and Death Row just bought them and Quik had no idea how or where they would end up?

Interesting!  Thanks for this!  So sounds like Quik was actually in the studio with Too Dogg working on the song together. Never seen this interview before, props.
