Seems cheap and disingenuous. As a fan I want to listen to an artist who takes his craft seriously and puts out a concentrated effort not someone who’s constantly churning out half ass shit
That's great. As a fan, i want Dr Dre to go back to his old Death Row sound, as a fan I want all of 2Pac's unreleased stuff put out untouched, as a fan I want a new DJ Quik album, as a fan I want Tha Twinz second album released. Guess what? We as fans don't get to decide how an artist makes their money or what they do with their music. Guarantee if you were able to make 5k for 10 minutes of work, you'd do it and not give two cents about some nobody complaining online about it. You guys really need to get over this issue you have with someone putting out music. Again, i'd rather have someone release 5 albums a year than someone like Dre or Quik who releases an album once every 20 years. If you don't like all the new albums, don't listen to it. Daz's legacy is set. He's always gonna be remembered as a great producer from back in the day. What he's doing now isn't going to be remembered in the least. Say he drops a great album in the last 10 years, which he has, no one remembers that either.
u can also make a fast buck by selling ass or robbing banksreal wealth is in integrity there is no integrity in making music without an honest effort in putting your best into it that's why dre is a billionaire and daz is living check to check
Your honest opinion please...do you feel RBX put in his absolute best into his album with you, and that he is continuing putting his best effort forward in his subsequent recordings since then?
the singles he's dropping now on premeditated entertainment, not as much .... with labcabin, he tried because we drove him.. the album we did was more of a production oriented album .. and we definitely put in a lot of time and effort producing it + guiding him along the way if u listen to daz's last few albums front to back and then listen to hibernation shivers front to back with no familiarity bias, you should be able to tell which album had more effort put into it, and which album was more of a rush job with a lack of attention to detail in production.
