After listening to that Kid Jazz interview with Thief The Priest a couple days ago, I decided to do a little investigating to see what Thief’s history is all about….

Come to find out he was in a group called 2-Tone back in the 80’s and Mike T from CMW was their D.J. for a period of time..

WOW…

Back in 1988 they recorded some material that ended up being shelved…Thankfully the good folks over at Jamille Records released a couple joints from the crew earlier this year…..

My top pick from the batch is a cut named “Mike T Is Dope” produced by KG of The Cold Crush Brothers…..FRESH IS THE WORD..
