its a bunch of gibberish, for example on the second song, he is talking about someone (another man) telling his woman that he aint shit. that doesnt makes sense unless Snoop is portraying to be a cuckhold in the song and has his woman pillow talking with another man.

The last song aint bad though.
That's not what that track is about. Basically the woman's man is bad mouthing snoop. He is just responding to it. Imo, that record didn't fit the vibe of the album and should have been left out.

Its a matter of taste but Bible of Love is highly underrated, top notch production, and a great listening experience, if you are into gospel

This album has improved with each listen. Lotta average songs but a couple nice joints and a few that are growing on me. I really like No Ticcet and the last track on the album

Not hating, I just didn't give it much attention. I'd say most of the LPs on the bottom of the list are fairly interchangeable. I don't dislike any of them.

Glad to see someone else thinks Da game is not a bad album. I was listening to it yesterday again, there's loads of good songs and only a few no limit sounding songs
Maybe it needs a revisit in 2026 for some people or maybe I just enjoying it now compared to the current state of music. I couldn't finish listening to the new Ye album.
Out the 21 tracks - Woof, Hustle & Ball, Tru Tank Dogs, Ain't nothing personal are the skippable tracks i feel  that don't go well in the album  it the other 16 are good.I liked No limit back in the day so even enjoy these. The rest beats by the pound and meech wells have crafted good beats that fit snoop and snoops lyrics are cool too

I've always liked that album. It was important at the time as well. It's typical No Limit but they ran shit back then

Dogg Gonna Getcha is one of my fav tracks

I strangely like Da Game.... to some degree. Yes, it was incredible disappointing to what I was expecting, some of the hooks were corny (ie Woof), but there are some slept on gems and it could do with some remixing and better editing. There is some really decent potential/spine which was let down by the poor production equipment (it sounded like it was made using a child's toy keyboard)!

Tha Dogg Father has some great tracks but a really struggle to get the motivation to load it up. Once it's on, then I tend to listen to most of it (I skip a handful of tracks). Again, better editing (far too long), mixing (it sounded flat with some exceptions) and Snoops lazy cadence had a big negative effect for me.

I gotta say, I really enjoyed this project. I know it doesn't have the typical Snoop sounding style in parts, but as a project overall it worked.
I can understand why people doen't like it, but I can't see how it's whack. Sure, there are questionable decisions (only 1 verse on 'checking out my poccects' and only 2 verses on many tracks) and a couple of tracks I don't like compared to others (Pop my shit), but I can throw this on and let it play all the way through.

I wonder what the next project on Death Row will be and will budget be available to shoot a half decent music video? Lol.

I always had affinity for that album. Snoop rushed and made it in three weeks. He even used some songs from his DR days: Pay for Pussy and Show me Love
