Yeah, he rapped his ass off on those. I just recently discovered them. I knew about them back when they were dropping but I never checked them because I didn't like the direction crook was going just prior to that. I felt his music had fallen off compared to his 90s music. However, the HHW are very dope!

I loved that hip-hop weekly series, used to really anticipate seeing what beats Crooked I would pick each week and be excited to hear each one week after week and see how it developed.

I remember a few of them Crooked went all out on the track and they made me a massive fan of his.  The one with the Horseshoe Gang about 8 weeks in was a particular standout.

Need to go back and revisit those weeklys for sure.

Hip hop Weekly was the highlight of my week. Was so bummed when he started it up again and only got through about 20 weeks. But hey, getting free Crooked music every week for a year, dude has a fan for life in me.
