I think most of these have a good shot of coming out too.  2003 could end up being a serious year when you look at that (I know I forgot alot) plus the underground/independant artists should drop a couple more gems too.

almost every good album this year has been released by an underground artist. thats why everyone is complaining that theres been nothing good. i'm sure kane will be released long before rakim and it wouldn't suprise me if it turns out to be better.

I basically listed from the top of my head the respected artists that already have an album or more on majors that are coming with an album.  That's why I didn't put a Jae Hood or a Joe Budden, the list would have been massive.

Mobb Deep's Free Agents: Murda Mix is a mixtape and that's supposed to set up the album they're going to put out by the end of the year.

I think Big Daddy Kane's album will come by the end of the year cause's he's been working on it for a while and already released the Alchemist produced "The Man: The Icon" and the DJ Premier produced "Any Type Of Way" with a good reception.  He's sounding very nice and with the producers he has lined up...    This should be really good.

I doubt Ice Cube will be released this year.

It's about time for a Redman album.  He usually releases one every other year and he released the Eminem produced "I Talk To Dead People", so that's a good sign it's coming.  But I don't think there is any official info yet as far as a released date.
