How do u save as mp3? why does it only save as an acid file?

not sure how to save as an mp3 but ive used this once or twice at my college and i know u can save it as .wav should be when u click on save as... and change the format ur saving it as $:-\$ hope that helped.

I know what you mean but it wouln't even let me save as .wav, only as an acid file. Does anyone know?
