i'm more interested in getting a cd copy of his self titled album it was released as a promo advance and i know a few people got their hands on iti remember a copy selling for $100 on ebay which i wish i woulda copped
That's also a very good example! I mean, the album was actually finished, and the promo CD does exist, just like the Jazza Pha and Cee-Lo Green album! I think with the Nate Dogg album, there was some issue with the label....the budget got cut.Have you checked Discogs? You probably have... since the album was last sold there on Oct 7, 2026.
elektra folded right before release
So, the album is finished, producer paid, engineer paid, and so on....and now we're just going to let it gather dust?
yupand i believe the ones that recently sold on discogs are fan made bootlegs, not the actual promo copys dropped by the label
the only official aka promo releasehttps://www.discogs.com/de/release/3705732-Nate-Dogg-Nate-DoggBut couldn't you check, once you've received the CD, whether it's a homemade copy?
Shame Warner didn't pick up where they left off, smh. Then again typical major record label behavior
the notes by the seller say it's an unofficial bootleg
58 People say they own the CD, someone must have the original; in other words, how many CDs were pressed?
