Daz RRGB vs Dillinger and Young Gotti (Sccit asked for this)

Sccit is hatin on RRGB for puttin Dillinger and Young Gotti ahead — that is st8 up disrespect to:

— the lost era of 97-98, the fascinating, mysterious era of west coast rap from the Doggfather release to "Bitch Please Resurgence
— disrespect to Suge and Reggie and Death Row to suggest some shitti independent release is the same caliber
— disrespect to Pac for underrating "Initiated" which is a legit 5 star 2pac track that Daz had in the canon
— disrespect to prime era Snoop and Nate "O.G"'z
— disrespect to prime era Tray Dee and LBC Crew (recording under The Gang)
— disrespect to Soopafly Preist Brooks who co-produced it flawlessly with Daz
— disrespect to Val Young
— disrespect to prime era Source Magazine that gave Daz 4 pages on the album and second most coverage in the issue he would have had the cover except Snoop snagged the cover that month for being "Stranded On Death Row"

We are talking about classic times Sccit and you are gonna put some rushed make a quick buck burn it from my home computer album ahead of it

I love both albums.

Imported D & YG the day it was released, my favourite album from 2001.

However, RRGB is far superior. It's not even a debate to me.

the fact that he continues to call dillinger and young gotti a rushed make a quick buck album just goes to show infinite has zero familiarity with it

first of all, a lot of those songs that made the album are from the death row sessions and were recorded in death row studios for their sophomore album before they left the label

secondly, mike dean is literally a crossover producer who produced A list pop stars like madonna, drake, jay-z, beyonce, kid cudi, the weeknd etc... and he handled the production on dillinger & young gotti! to overlook what a huge sound was provided for the album is embarssing on infinites behalf.

at least i give RRGB respect by saying it's a great album.. meanwhile, infinite is straight shitting on dillinger & young gotti when it has been regarded by most west coast heads as classic or near classic.

my theory is that infinite musta only listened to the album once and not even all the way through .. why? well tracks 5-10 are all party/pussy songs. and infinite himself has admitted he doesn't like to look at pussy because it's ugly to him. so this would explain why that early stretch in the album completely turned him off.

the burden of proof is on you since you clearly have said nothing positive about dillinger and young gotti

I agree. I listened to D&YG so much the year it dropped and the next year or two. I thought it was such a dope follow up to Dogg Food.

RR&GB is hands down a better album. From Daz and Kurupt rapping, from beats, from guest appearances, and just as a whole complete album. It isn't close.
