I ALWAYS stay away from these type of topics, but this is my view:

Quik's gotta be doing something right if this many people put him in Dre's level.

Right now, it's 9 for Quik, 9 for Dre.

People are always gonna disagree, so I think it's pointless to try and change peoples minds on this topic.

I voted for Quik. I prefer his production over Dre's. But IMO, people shouldn't really compare Dre & Quik because they both have different unique styles which are both dope. It does suck that Quik doesn't get the respect that he deserves but that's the way it is. Dre is a well known & popular producer who is in the mainstream & Quik isn't.

Look at it like this if there was no DRE U would not have that West Coast sound U all love.
I dont think Quick would take away that sound if he had never made a beat.

I remember a while back I went to C Eminem and before he come out the DJ Spined DRE Tunes past to present. And it makes U trip I was thinking Fuck this guy has done nuff dope tunes.

Consistent Is the word U all should think about.

Anyway I voted 4 HUTCH  ;D

I would say Klock or daz for their various styles. Dre & quik have signature sounds. Nothing wrong with that though.

I'll put it like this....

there's no denying Dre's the greatest rap producer to touch a song and he produces bangin music.  however, since his last album dropped, some of his beats (leftovers from 2001?) have been repetitive and sometimes boring.  Quik has always brought something new and fresh to his beats....all his albums have a different, unique style and sound.  My vote goes for quik
