Lil Malik/Hershey Locc and Lil Wayne

Me and my homeboy think that Lil Wayne is somethin like a Lil Malik clone...maybe not a clone, but do any of y'all hear the striking resemblence?
I think Lil Wayne bit his whole style. Before Malik, I can't recall too many dudes who had a squeaky azz voice but made it sound tite. Wayne not only has the same voice, but the way he makes it go up and down, how he holds his voice and sometimes sings with it, and even how he says "weezy" which is how people in CA have been talkin forever, I think he really did bite his style, but nobody else noticed because Malik was never that big.

Word, I wonder the same thing everytime I bump Red Hot or Big Bank.  He's so tight it's a shame he hasn't been keeping his name out there.  I'm gonna have faith and alot patience cuz I think something will drop from him soon.  Maybe by Spring, next year or Summer time.  He's too good to just walk away from the game like that.  I wonder how much material he recorded while on Sic Wid It.    I wonder if that stuff will ever see the light of day...

mr. malik is from down south somewhere i think. he's related to snoop, his cousin i think, snoop flew him out to l.a. so he could start helping tha dogg pound. while fucking with tha dpgc'z he got signed to rowdy records (dallas austin's label) i believe, he even appeared on monica's 1st album. he has alot of guest appearences that alot of poeple don't know about, still one of the siccest mc's in my opinion.

i only remember one song ever with him on it...i thinik from warren g's  1st album or snoops doggystyle..  "its mr malik do you hear me, im the host with most no one can get close or even near me" something like that i think...  but anyway..he was tight as heeeellllll.....    someone should put together a list of all his tracks and throw them on a cd....  anyone got a discography of his appearances??

yea I agree with R-Tistik the dude sounds alot like him. He probably heard him when he was young and took that style. Ain't lil wayne real young??? he probably was real young and I bet he heard a few songs with Malik and got inspired.
