I benched 250 when I was in high school, but I never tried to max out. No clue how much I can do now cause I'm a ton bigger than I was in HS.

Squats I did close to 550 in football.

Well the ratio between my weight to the weight i can lift is quite good...

...i can bench just over 85 kg's free weights on flat bench which is around 187 lbs...sure i could do more but i never train for that...thats mainly when im really pushing my personal training clients hard and going toe to toe with them...
...really only go that weight with bodybuilders n bouncers who wanna rip quickly...

...btw im around 56 kg's or 123 lbs

but its about technique and control of your musculature more than anything...
...power is just speedy use of strength...strength is just your body's ability to adapt and utilise every muscle fibre needed to fulfil the task...

...ie newbie in a gym cant perform skullcrushers...give em a few time to practise and control that moverment for them..the muscles can then remember, repeat and adapt in order to perform this function again...no hypertrophy will have taken place yet as it generally takes a couple of weeks at the least.

Btw how heavy are you guys...are you doing it free weights / on a smith machine / bench press machine...what are your freeweight flyes like?

;)

Thats good bro!

Well done...althought trying to go too hard at your age can be dangerous to your still growing system...but im sure you know that already...

...squats arent the same exactly as leg press cos simply on the press you have a stable base which is totally safe...uses slightly different combination of muscle fibres too but anyway...

...squats require perfection in balance wilst performing the lift...you use alot more back, stomach for stabilisation

right now about 225 3 times. I never try to max out i usually do sets with like 150lbs. 225 aint that much .i seen like 16 year olds benchin 300 which totally perplexes me.I can bench 30lbs over my weight is good enough.
