the only reason why you people are still getting snoop records is cuz snoop knows the importance of musical growth.

thats plain bullshit.

what i find funny is.....2/3'd of you JUST bought doggystyle no more than 2 years ago. i put my DICK on that

as a OG snoop fan from 92' who has experienced all of his changes, i don't call snoop a sellout. i call him a smart dude/artist who knows what he's doing.  all of you want him to make g-funk and rap about gangsters and bitches and weed and keep making doggystyle. that was 10 years ago......10 years ago we were all playing with ninja turtles eating glue and singing the alphabet.....if we've  changed THAT much imagine how much snoop has changed. he's gone from a 19 year old felon from long beach to a millionair rapper with kids and a wife. i'm sure half of our parents wouldn't do the things they did in the 70's now would they?

snoop .....or anyother big name westcoast cat don't do g-funk no more becuase it's played out! it had a healthy 8 year run and it was time to evolve. obviously 80% of this board  were never around during the peek of this era ....so how are they going to understand the fallout of this sound. most of you think g-funk is as old and fresh as the newest j-lo song, lol.

i don't think snoop works with warren daz and whoever else you mentioned , becuase they're still stuck in that era ....and snoop is trying to grow. it would be one thing to totally turn his back on his friends and not HANG with them......but that's not true. a sell out would  not do what snoop is doing.

when i see a song Snoop Dogg Featuring Nelly or something i get pissed yeah , cuz fuck i hate nelly. but then you got to remember like you so elequently stated before , he's only using these star of the moment cats to reach out to the next generation of hip hop fans, to keep his name out there. he's not going to have a long standing working relationship with them . y'all got to understand that. i'd call snoop a sell out if he was all over the next nelly and st lunatic albums and talking in country gramar saying hot in herre and shit like that. nah he  does his thing with them and moves on.

you also got to remember SNOOP HAS NOTHING TO PROOVE  anymore. everything he does is for fun and love of it nowadays . i don't blame him one bit.

man i really don't feel like going into in depth detail about snoop's career choices, but everything he does is for a reason and i think the only reason why you people are still getting snoop records is cuz snoop knows the importance of musical growth.

Thats Exactly what I think ...The G funk sound is new to them cause most of them are 15-16-17 dont tell me y'all were bumpin Chronic or DoggyStyle 10 years ago ::)

Well, I've listened to Snoop since "Deep cover" when I was 12 years old and I still call Snoop a sell-out.
