How I am suppose to take pride in my city when there's buildings fallin to pieces and crack heads spreadin diseases,
Children stealin cars, incest apparent, people marryin there nieces,

Cos everytime I look at my window I see a broken sky and birds being shot wit pellets makin their wings limber,
I see a city full of pity its like God didn't have enough days to create a place full of harmony,
Walk the streets you get beeped by the drug dealers doin 90 in their ferrari,
U.S.A residents think that cos we don't got gangs that we ain't a place that we can hate,
You come see how many peasents line the streets beggin for money and you'll understand why I gotta escape,
We got rats stealin cars when you park up at the lights at night, they like infections,

Miners started gettin sick cos of all the hours spent deep in the hole,
Chimneys makin kids cough of their soul from the miners homes, funny cos they fueled wit deceased coal,  God dam they didn't know,
But we had shit to be proud of, buildings built with the upmost beautiful architecture,
Schools and univercities only accepted applications from rich kids and then had the cheek to employ a person to give a lower and higher class lecture,
Yet we still a proud system every person had a liven, but it wasn't as easy as today to had to earn every shillin you where given,
We got the museum displayin objects of history locked away behind glass cases,
Yo gotta pay a bundle to see em and even then the cases so dirty you cant see the object displayed but in the reflection you see your sad faces,
Thats a bit about the history and all those things still remain,
Funny how the modern day buildings even wit all todays technology still cant put the older buildings to shame,

The world seems to forget that this band we born and bred in the same surrowndings as myself,
Pollution from factorys are a cunt for asthma suffer's every breath damages your health,

Now its 2003 and strangly we have decided to stop carin and act on our own instinct,
