For those struggling with getting mIRC to work..
There's now a web-browser with built in IRC..

It's called Mozilla, and this is the platform Netscape was built on..
Very easy to use.. and it's basically the same as Netscape, which IMO, is the best web-browser..

Download it here:

Instructions:
Choose Window
Then choose IRC Chat in the menu.

You will see this:
[INFO]   Available networks are [dalnet, efnet, freenode, hybridnet, moznet, quakenet, slashnet, undernet, webbnet].

Hit the link that says EFNET..
That should connect you to EFNET..
Enter the command /join #westcoastconnection
Or click this link in your web-browser: irc://efnet/westcoastconnection
and you're there.

Now you can do just about anything what it says in the mIRC-thread..
