the only ppl that bought his last album were:
1.)loyal snoop fans, even though they know the album is trash (like me, although i feel i should'nt have bought it)
2.)mainstream pop groupies

and mainstream pop groupies were the one that got the album past 1x platinum.
the whole album was a eastcoast/pop influenced album. it wasnt a westcoast album, even though snoop is a westcoast artist.
and you wonder why snoop didnt sell as much as his other albums did.........
its coz his other albums were true westcoast albums, and ppl love snoop for this, coz he brings out str8 bangin westcoast

eminem might be the most famous rapper, but he will not suit to be on the 213 album. the 213 album is supposed to be the
album that will put the westcoast back on the map,... then why he got to put all these eastcoast cats
producin on & featurin on the album. ...like the westcoast doesnt have enough talent to produce and feature on the
album themselves.at the moment,... snoop has got too much eastcoast dick up his arse, and pop shit poppin in his mouth.
i read a snoop interview, where snoop said that he keeps doin the music for the fans. he said , if it wasnt for the fans,
he wouldnt be doin this. mainstream pop groupies dont count as fans. and most real snoop fans have gave up on
him for a while now. for real,... i dont hear anyone sayin how they like snoop's latest album . from all the
forums i been on, they all been dissin snoop, callin him wack, and that they gave up on him. they say his
latest album was trash and say snoop turned pop. real hiphop heads aint checkin for snoop no more,.. i mean i
can make a very accurate estimation and say that most ppl on the major forums like sohh & ill community forums
are not checkin for snoop no more. and these pll on these forums represent THE REAL hiphop heads, even though most
hiphop heads dont post on the internet,.. the figures are usually always right.
and then snoop announces that he wants puffy to executive produce his album, and this is exactly the
opposite of what the fans want to hear. he's compltetley sellin out his fans by doin this.
but there might be some good news, coz puffy said he would rather see dr dre do the album, coz he is a fan, but puffy said
he'll take a shot at it if dre doesnt take up the job.

*have majority of tracks produced by dre, and have dre mix the whole album.
* feature only the dpg's, dr dre & maybe a couple other westcoast artists like maybe ice cube,dj quik or wc or sumthin  
if snoop can do this, then he can bring back the respect he has lost, and become once again one of the best hiphop
artists ever, and be guarrantted to have multi platinum success like doggystyle.
i believe he can do it, but WILL HE DO IT is the question

LOL, obviously Snoop is gonna keep doing what he's doing so we should just except it. The fans have been complaining about Snoop's music for years & obviously he hasn't listened so I guess he's happy with the way his music is going. Everyone might as well stop complaining because it doesn't look like he's gonna change his music anytime soon.

...but Dre hasn't fucked with G-funk for YEARS. He moved on, just like Snoop has. Personally when I hear a Dre beat today it sounds
universal. Snoop's trying to reach that point too, he's just leaning too heavily on the East Coast sound for the moment.

People seem to forget that even while he was on No Limit, Snoop took it back to the West. Look at the vast majority of Top Dogg, look at the entire Eastsidaz first album and a lot of the second one. Snoop will always be a West Coast artist, and he'll return to that sound eventually. People need to chill out and stop stressing it. There's a lot of good West Coast music out there for fools to be crying themselves to sleep at night 'cause Snoop wants a Just Blaze beat or whatever on the 213 album...
