"WSC - Terrorist Threats" VS "213 - The Hardway"
« on: July 11, 2003, 11:37:55 PM »
i have a really good feeling about the the WSC album. they got good production on it and u know theyre not gonna have some crappy east coast features on it.
213 should be good too. but after reading warren g's interview it looks like snoiop is running things. that cant be a good thing. if it was just warren g and maybe a couple of dre tracks in production it would ba a gr8 album but we all know snoop wont let this happen
so my prediction is WSC will be better than 213
wat yall think?

peace

Well on paper the WSC album sounds better, but I can't really tell 'til I hear 'em. 'Cause if the possible east coast producers on the 213 album do tracks like Not Like It Was on the Doggystyle Allstars CD then it's all good. I'm just holding my fingers crossed Snoop don't get the Neptunes on the LP.

Hmm I donno...the Westside connection spits dope shit but I haven't heard a super dope song from them since Cheddar. "Walk" "Lightz out" "Connected 4 life" "Let it reign" were coo, "Nobody" with Timbaland was gaaarbage. But I really don't expect them to touch shit like "Bow down"

Now for 213, after hearin "Run up on us" I am highly anticipatin this shit to be somethin special, but Snoop needs to help Warren with his lyrics and Snoop needs to work on his flow on that track because the beat and Nate Dogg are classic.

They NEED to do somethin like "It ain't no fun pt. 2" not really a sequel or anything, but just somethin that has that classic party feel to it, but just replace Kurupt with Bad Azz.

I am anticipating the new WSC album more & I think that it will be a better album than 213. And of course I am anticipating the new 213 album but let's face it, from reading what Warren had to say about the project & Snoop being in charge of it, I don't have high hopes for the album. Maybe that's good because if it's really tight then it will blow me away but I'm not getting my hopes up on it being a classic.

I would personally just like to have Warren G produce the whole album with the exception of a few tracks which Dr. Dre should produce & it should have nothing but 213 over the album, NO GUEST APPEARENCES. 213 is Snoop, Nate, & Warren, what do they need guest appearences for?

I've got high hopes for both of these albums, but if I walked into a record shop with enough money for just one, I'd pick up 213. We've been waiting too long for it!

Exactly... I'd rather cop the 213 album, but I'm really afraid that Snoop's gonna single-handedly destroy the most anticipated album of all-time IMO

Word, 213 album is gona be the shiznit for sure.  I aint checkin Mack 10 no more, I dont even know how tight Cube's gona come because he's been outta the rap game for so long now, DubC always comes tight tho.  But Ive been waiting a decade for the 213 album, and yall know its gona be the bomb.  Fuck the haters.  Personally, I dont even want Warren to do all the beats.  Id like to hear 50% produced by Warren then have Dre, FredWreck, Battlecat and Meech do some tracks.  I wouldnt mind a Neptunes track on there either cuz if we hada heard Nate Dogg over the Beautiful hook yall would be sayin its some classic shit.
