Booker T’s back injury a career ending situation
« on: August 12, 2003, 10:25:42 PM »
It appears as if Booker T’s back injury is a much more serious than first thought.

As I announced yesterday, the preliminary prognosis of the injury is that he will miss six to eight weeks, however, there is a chance that it could be a career ending situation.

Booker’s doctors will know much more in about a month or so.

what do you guys think about that, its kind of messed up cause they were barely starting to give him a push and now this happens. hopefully its not that bad but who knows guess we will wait a month to find out

wasn't he the only true black champion? the rock i think ain't black..is he? lol

this would suck...cuz then they would need a new black wrestler (who's good) to fill his spot.

anywayz..does anyone know when HHH is gonna lose his title..bastard has had it for soooo long..its becoming gay

From what I heard, the only reason why Booker T lost the belt was to increase tivket sales at house shows, because they think that more people will buy tickets if they think belt will change hands.

Ron Simmons a.k.a Faraaqo was the first black heavyweight champion when he won the WCW title back in the early to mid 90s.

Most likely Goldberg will win the title at SummerSlam.

WWE are reluctant to give Goldberg the title at the moment, since he hasnt really been putting in work apparently

Goldberg or Jericho will win the title at SummerSlam, and then the next PPV (Vengance?) will be Goldberg/Jericho vs HHH and HHH will take it back

well here is some good news for booker t fans and for boker t
After evaluation, Booker T is expected to miss around four to six weeks due to a herniated disc, which is not as bad as initially thought. Many feared that the back injury would bring an abrupt end to the career of Booker T, yet this does not seem to be the case at present, but it can not be ruled out if the disc continues to give him pain in the future

Vegance was the July Smackdown! PPV, and Goldberg will most likely win the belt or somehow HHH will win the match leading up to Goldberg vs HHH at Unforgiven with Goldberg winning the title. Orginally they wanted Goldberg to win the title at SummerSlam and then defend it against Kane at Unforgiven, but the WWE's plans have changed it seems like.

Besides the match of the night will be Kurt Angle vs "The Real" Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title, and not the Elimination Chamber.
