im hyped about everything mentioned below:

What's going on West Coast Rap Fans? I'm back with some exclusive news on one of the most respected and tightest producers out there, Mr. BC Powder himself Battlecat. I just had a long conversation with the man, and I'm gonna give ya'll the essential info. He has big projects and has been working on alot of stuff, trying to hook up with alot of people, no matter what hood they from or what color they sport.
After doing the entire new Boo Yaa TRIBE album, Cat got down with Goldie Loc & Tray Deee who are currently completeing their third group effort, hooking them up with a gang of beats. He will also be producing the first single, which will be completed tonight. He is very proud of Goldie and Tray, who this time around put it down themselves, without being 'babysitted' by Snoop Dogg. They took their G shit to another level, both stepping up their game and really focusing on putting out a quality record. The album is about 90-95% done, but they are still tweaking it and adding some stuff here and there. I'll hit ya'll up with some more exclusive info on this project in the coming days.
Battlecat will most definitely also have a hand in the upcoming 213 album, but how much and when is not clear yet. However it should be hot, and west coast to the fullest. Battlecat also had a few words about the Neptunes getting down on it, he said that the fans should not worrry, he is positive that they will deliver something that will have the sound that fits Snoop, Warren and Nate, and they should not judge the record before they have heard it.
In addition to those two records, he is also looking to hook up with Bad Azz again to work on his upcoming solo Executive Decisionz, which will be released indepentently. That record has been running into a few problems, as the budget of the label isn't very big, but as BC put it, "homie love is more important than money, and if it's necessary, I come down in the price, as low as needed to hook the homie up with something, he is mad talented and deserves it". There is not release date for this record as of yet.
Battlecat is also the CEO of his label BC Power, and in addition to producing, he will also start rapping, as he has been doing behind the scenes for years. "I felt that I had to work on my flow and delivery and perfectionize it before I come out to the public with it. Now I feel is the right time to show them how I get down on the mic." The people present at the release party of Boo Yaa at Justin's last week got a taste of it, sounded pretty good if you ak me!
He will also produce and put out new talent from the West, such as his group the Lost Angels, consisting of Ruff Dogg, I Smooth 7 and King Lou, who Battlecat is currently working on finish his solo for. Last but not least, Cat is working on his album, BC Powder Presents The Family Tree, a record where he's gonna try to have everybody who showed him love throughout the years, such as his West Coast folks including Dr. Dre, but also artists such as Raphael Saadiq, Busta Rhymes or Eminem, who he has a meeting with very soon to talk business. Slim Shady, who got down with Boo Yaa for a track on their new record, seems to be showing some love to slept on West Coast folks which is good to see.

So that's alot of stuff to look forward to! For the old school fans, BC is trying to catch up with his folks Dazzie Dee, now known as Bigg Saccs, and Tha Chill from CMW, who both turned into producers with time, and now are extremely tight. More news on that later.
Stay tuned to dubcnn for more exclusive info on these projects in near future!

snoop also said "paid da cost to be tha boss" was gonna be his best cd since "doggystyle", then what happened? it turned out to be the biggest peice of shit snoop ever released.  how the hell is snoop gonna make a crapier cd than "the game is to be sold..." when he can work with warren g, nate dogg, soopafly, battlecat, fredwreck, meech wheels, daz, bad azz, dre(if he wanted it), e-white, rbx, etc. its only natural to doubt how good this cd can be when the neptunes start fucking with it, we all know how bad snoop sounds on their beats. warren g should do most of the production for the cd and the rest would be dre, daz, battlecat, etc. im looking forward to this cd cause i know its gonna be dope, but i got a feeling it could be a lot better if they kept it westcoast.

If u ask me, Da game is muuuuuuuch worst than Paid the cost. Paid the cost isn't really a bad album to me, it jus has many different styles that don't blend, and he ain't comin off hard like he should. Da game had 3 or 4 coo tracks, and the rest sucked terrible.
