My list goes off of many things, including longivity and impact on the game, and rhyming skillz. It's sad to see Big L pass away, but the truth is, he never truly got to prove his skillz for years, like a Jay-Z, or Nas, or 2Pac. If i complete my list, which is a top 20, it goes like this, and trust me, a top 20 is hard as hell to get on too. The top ten you see, and

11. LL Cool J (the longest lasting rapper ever, still platnum)
12. Method Man (mainly representing the Wu)
13. Eminem (could be higher is time, right now blow th roof off the race issue)
14. Lauryn Hill (greatest female rapper ever, strong message)
15. Big Punisher (greatest latin rapper, gifted lyrist)
16. Slick Rick (Storyteller, influined many in the game)
17. Chuck D (lyrical activist, not great on skillz, but powerful with words)
18. D.J. Quik (producer, rapper, hits maker, gangsta, Quik is one of the most respected rappers ever in the game)
19. Melli Mel of the Furious 5 (The Message made him, White Line kept him as the greatest old school rhymer, sorry Kool Moe Dee)
20. Common (Has great impact on the game, I Used to Love H.E.R.)

after top 20, you get into more people with skillz, I never truly thought of my list past 20, maybe one day. But that's my personal list. Half of the rappers are not even my favorites, just when I look unbiased at impact, skillz, longivity, and other factors, that's the list I got a few months ago, and I stand by it as my own.

2.Outkast(always pushing the envelope, never made a weak album)
3.Ice Cube(Those first three albums are incredible)
4.2pac(doesn't need an explanation)
5.LL (Made great battle records and also great club jams)
6.Big L(dude was just sick)
7.DJ Quik(most talented person in the rap game, a true musician)
8.Talib Kweli(Always makes you think, plus he actually flows)
9.Xzibit(one of he most consisted rappers i ever heard)
