Only In California by Mack 10 from his solo album Based On A True Story. Features Ice Cube & Snoop, no one else. And its Mack 10 who says two well known enemies becoming allies

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Classic song and video. The video was original as fuck. It was on some 1984 shit. That was Mack's last good album.

kinda, he's referring to an old rivarly between Long Beach & Inglewood apparently.

from what i've read:
Long Beach - Big Crip population
Inglewood - Big Blood population

Daz was originally featured on it... but Ten took it of, that's the reason why Daz  & Ten had beef for a lil' while.

ya'll might remember Kurupt & Baby S being on some tv show (around the time Kuruption was released), and when the interviewer asked Baby S who was gonna be on his album, he looked at Kurupt and Kurupt said "it's alright, you can say it", then Baby S said Mack 10.

Isn't that also why Daz made "In California" on RR&GB, as his answer version?

lol at that - Baby S was shook  ;D
