I went to Virgin Megastore yesterday...I bought a few albums!

First of all, pardon me for bein' so excited about this but usually I have to buy my cd's from Amazon.com, because the stores in my area NEVER have any of the artists I listen to. (I live in Belgium)

Me & my parents went to Paris yesterday and when I was in the Virgin Megastore, it was like heaven  ;D I already made a list of cd's I was planning to buy. I ended up buyin' these albums:

Mausberg: Non Fiction €22
Mack 10: Ghetto, Gutter & Gangsta €21
Yukmouth: Godzilla €23
Jayo Felony: Crip Hop €22
Mobb Deep: Free Agents - Murda Mixtape - €24

TOTAL: €112 (pretty damn expensive for 5 albums)

Anyway, it felt good to just look at my list and pick out the album from the rack.  8)

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

lol - for UK peeps: I remember growing up in Cornwall, and going to Plymouth was MAJORLY exciting because of the HMV and Virgin Megastores there.

the Virgin Megastores near me is kinda shit, they get the odd dope album in now and then but the best one for me is HMV at Oxford Street and theres suppose to be another shop just round the corner selling imports for dirt cheap.
