Hmm dont think he has fallen off really...

...yes his first 3 albums were the best..but in comparison to some of the shit that gets put out today he aint gone yet...

...his next album will bring him back to the forefront..but cube's never been a "famous" rapper, what i mean by that is he never will go for status like eminem, 50 etc  - his music back in the early 80's was and is argueably some of the best hiphop around...

...predator and amerikka are my favourite albums but i got n love em all....

...but sometimes great things must come to an end...dont think this is his time tho...public enemy were the shit! no one could touch them, governments were scared of them, political bills were being altered because of them...

as they said...dont believe the hype ;)

^^^ sorry i gotta disagree. i dont think his new album will be very good, after all he's on Aftermath. No disrespect to Dre but look how much both Eminem & 50 Cent changed after they signed with him, they both got really watered down.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

How did Eminem get "watered down".. ??
By getting better beats, improving his lyrical content, and multiplying his flow.. ??

I dunno why peeps is hating this much on Em.. I don't want him to go back to rapping about raping moms & grandmas and what worse is.

i never heard him rap about raping his mom until he signed with Dre. Em rapped in a dope underground style but when he hooked up with Dre he started doing mainstream songs & rapping about wack shit like dropping acid & raping his mom.

---He started out with NWA, and a lot of Cali peeps were saying he fell off when he left NWA and hooked up with the Bomb Squad cuz he didnt have thhat Cali sound anymore.
---Then, when he ditched that sound and style, he went westcoast g-funk style somewhat with PRedator and especially with Lethal Injection, and hiphop fans were pissed except for westcoast fans and pop fans.  (By the way, this was my favourite CUbe).
---Then he switches it up again, and starts throwin up dubs and dissin the east coast (who helped make arguably his best album) with Westside COnnection, alienating more original fans while garnering more and more of tre younger generation who were fixated with Pac and repping the westside.
---Since WSCG album, cube as not really had a huge impact on the game at all.  I really think thhe new Westside album will be dope, but at the same time it is not entirely the Cube i want.  TO me, he is like SNoop, he shows signs of still having it, and one day he will drop an incredible album and then call it quits.   He has been successful for a long time despite 'falling off" according to many people.  I think he needs to get the flow a little more on point (like Chin Check), concentrate on the lyrics, and most importantly believe in wat he is saying.  Because Cube is much betterwhen he is rapping about a wortwhile subject or topic.............Hopefully, if CUbe ever drops his Aftermath album then ha can put it altogether one last time.......peace

Teecee, for the billionth time, comes correct.
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

In regards to Cube, my personal favourite is Lethal Injection and Death Certificate. Powerful music.

^^^ sorry i gotta disagree. i dont think his new album will be very good, after all he's on Aftermath. No disrespect to Dre but look how much both Eminem & 50 Cent changed after they signed with him, they both got really watered down.

but the difference between cube and em etc is that cube is a status in himself...he doesnt need anyone else to make him sound good (well you know what i mean...big name dre attached to his album to sell more...i say go back to sir jinx and pooh if it were possible.)
But anyway cube had his differences with someone trying to do something he didnt like to his music (yeah and money-business) and he split...

...the scary thing for me would be if cube just put out a weak album..we all agree he is better with fire in his belly..and the question is has he got that anymore...he doesnt need rage / anger to have fire...just a desire to be on top of the game that he can be...

...but then again ya gotta ask, his film company etc etc going so well...he doesn't have to put another albu out really..so he has to want it...and want it to be good...

im an optimist  ;D and i dont think cube will disappoint on this one with lack of quality.
