It's Dre allright.. I have a fairly good version, though not entirely CD-Q.

Shouldnt that song be on the new Royce mixtape?

Royce wrote that song for 2001.  It's supposed to be Dre rapping.  It was supposed to be on 2001, but after what Royce's manager said, he was totally taken off 2001, that's also why "The Way I be Pimpin" was changed to "Xxplosive".

some shit about dre being a little kid n stuff.. i cant remember exactly why and what over

royce's only input on 2001 in the end was that he wrote 'the message' for dre.

Royce's manager said in an interview that without Royce, Dre's new album would be nothing.  He said Royce is making the album dope, so Dre heard this, and completely removed Royce from the album.
