05. IN DA CLUB -Produced by: Dr.DreMixed by: Dr.DreRecorded by:Mauricio "Veto" Iragorri and Sha Money XL
This was one of the dopest beats ever made IMO.......Definatly a beat for the ages...
well it says mike played the keys and bass on it. the bass tabs are this:P.M.---------------------------------------------------------4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4----------------------------pm= palm mute4's= fret strumed on bassand the 4's are on the 3'd line cuz that's what string it's on. so all mike's doing with his bass is palm muting a note over and over again for the base line (which only ocurrs once in a while on the song) pretty elementry if you ask me but it's a tight beatG[---------------------------] D[---------------------------]A[---11/12--9/11--12\11------]E[---------------------------]here's the main beat^ again very very very simple but a little more techniqueso basically in a nut shell all mike did in the studio with dre is put his finger in one area of the bass and strum it over and over again. then slide up and down a couple of times on a guitar . then replicate it on the keyboard. hey dre......hire me as your bass/guitar player, i'd hook it up a lot fatter than ^
