Anybody know what movie this is?
« on: September 09, 2003, 07:27:37 PM »
it was on BET tonight but i only caught like 45 minutes of it. There was a guy who made this nerd switch places with him in order to get good grades. It was from the early 90's i think. Any help would be appreciated.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I think i seen a movie like you asking for, did it have a white and black kid? and the white kid suppose to go to the good school and the black suppose to go the juvi camp or some shit but they get switched around coz they had the same name.

if its that i think its call The Switch. If not oh well.
Coz you see at the age of birth, we was contaminated with the caucasions curse/
I dont know what came first, the pententiary or the purse/
But I aint into that crap, I'd rather lay back and start working on my raps/
While you niggas stay strapped, with a hoe on your lap, with a dirty puss and crack/
While I stay intact with my people, and carry the mic which is lethal/
