Dre signs new GARBAGE rapper to aftermath

Dre signed this wack ass rapper named Stat Quo. He was on power106 the other day and Felli Fell played one of his songs and dude is a waist of a contract.  Hes from the ATL  so you know he cant rap. the only reason DRE picked his ass up was cuz hes from the South and the South is blowin up right now and its the new "hot" thing. DRE needs to stop listening to that white devil Jimmey Ivine and start putting the westcoast back where it needs to be. Besides The GAme, aftermath has no westcoast rappers. Dre in my opinion is a disgrace to the westscoast. This faggot has all the money/power in the industry and he goes elsewhere to look for artists besides cali.

Because he had some hype before signing with them and yall know what happened when he officially signed, the hype was like

The Result, he sold millions of records, especially since the east coast seems to be the all the hype now and then

Dre signing this Atlanta based artist only follows the hype of Atlanta and down south artist, i mean Lil Jon is gettin play here in southern cali with "Get Low" and we all know Ludacris and the Nappy Roots and all that south stuff and Dre knows that the south is hot working with this guy might have the same outcome as working with 50 Cent.

As for the Game, well hes kinda lost right now, there is a thread in this section that states when was the last time the westcoast had a hit song, well lets just say it isnt pretty, the westcoast is dead right now, especially with the general radio/mtv/bet crowd, sure we got dope cd's from Daz, Ecay Uno from Diego and a gang of dope bay area cd's but guess what
THEY AINT SELLIN MILLIONS!!!!!

The Game has the potential but right now Dre aint gonna focus on him, MAYBE when 213, westside connection and eastsidaz drop the hype will come back to the west coast and that will be the perfect time to get the Game going

no realizm is right. stat quo is a fucking waste and dre wouldnt even have cared for him if it wasnt for mel-man. i know you cant judge a rapper by one or two songs, but stat quo has such a fucking generic rapping style that he may almost replace joe beast as the most useless aftermath member (not including the unknown cats like antonio). who says you have to be talentless to sell records? plenty of talented cats can sell, as long as you have catchy songs. only reason stat quo has catchy shit is because of dr dres beats, which would be better off if anybody else on that label used it. if aftermath needed a southern artist, they couldve at least conducted a goddamn search for one

no dumbass. Its obvious when someone cant rap. You dont need to listen to 48 songs from the same artist to judge. I've heard 3 joints by this guy and its safe to say hes just another piece of shit from the South. Like i said before, Dre only signed him cuz the South is blowin up right now.

Dre isn't signing him because the South is blowing up right now (it's been big for a few years now) but because he wants to make an impact on every part of the US rap game. His done the west, he's worked with east coast peeps for a few years now (although apparently Ra was meant to be his big go at working with the east)d now he wants to have a go at the south and i say more power to him (haven't heard much from Stat but i agree in that he doesn't seem to be great, but i'll hear a few more songs before i'll be as harsh as Realizm).

And just because he isn't signing westcoast rappers doesn't mean he's not working with them, look at Xzibit, Knoc, Ras Kass, King Tee to name a few.
