CPO aka Boss Hog is back!, the veteran west coast rapper who put it down on Death Row Records in the 90's on 2Pacs "All Eyez On Me", "Above The Rim" and "Murder Was The Case" to name a few, is in the studio right now with LA based, IV Life Records. CPO is at the Greenhouse Studios laying down vocals for the new IV Life Records mixtape "Basses Loaded", due to drop next week.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

he also did Just So Ya know from ATR.  and a song on bones and some other shit.  and he has an old album which I think sucks cause his voice is way different back then.
