Does nate have to be on everyones singles?
« on: September 23, 2003, 03:07:59 PM »
How many singles has nate been on since 2001?  it would have to be AT LEAST 20.......

currently, suga free and WSCG will have nate on their singles, as well as memphis bleek and mark ronson.  This shit is RIDICULOUS, its making me sick of nate, and he is one of my favourite artists. It used to be a treat to ear nate on a song, now its the norm.  Thankfully, he still rips it everytime.......

He's also on Hi-C's single. I don't mind, as long as he comes tight on all of 'em.

If it's making you sick of him just turn off the radio and television.  There's nothing good on there anyways.

Oops, i meant he was on Hi-c's single, not suga frees!

Og kody, i think its tight nate is getting his, but if he used some of these hooks and beats for a solo album, he could actually sell some units for himself instead of everyone else.  Oh well, what does he care he has to be mad rich right now

He's selling himself short..

If everybody have a blazing Nate Dogg verse on their single, why would they buy a Nate Dogg album with just singing and a few guestspots..

If I was Nate, I would limit myself to a single or two a year, to get my name out there, and then save the hottest tracks for my own record.. I guess that's why Nate doesn't sell as a solo artist.

nate doesn't sell because every one things of him as a hook singer....he's done both, come out with a few hits and dropped a cd....his cd's just don't sell, so to get paid he's on every one's songs......

i don't see a problem, i'll still get his cd cause nate is always consistent, no matter how many hooks he's on

Nate Dogg's Greatest Hooks

Imagine if all the different labels that released tracks he featured on could be persuaded to take part in a double CD with all his best guest spots...

 :o :o :o :o 8)

Everything from 'Ain't No Fun' to 'Regulate' to 'Oh No' to 'Where I Wanna Be' to 'Area Codes' to 'Next Episode' to 'Na Na Na'...

Holy shit, that would be dope.
