question for everyone that has an official copy.  does the actual cd have any artwork printed on it? i know there is a small front and pack sheet of coverart and tracklisting but is there art on the actual disc?

i just bought a copy of welcome to the chuuch vol I and it has a cover page but no art on the cd just a 1 written in sharpy on the cd-r, you think this is official?  anyone know where i can pick up more official versions of this shizzle?  i got a connect with doggystyle buts its takin longer then i like.

mixtapes are usually cd-rs. I've boughten alot of mixtapes and they usually have a the name of the mixtape written wit a sharpy accross the cd. It looks very unprofessinal but thats they way it is.

You probably got one that someone other than the official distributor made. I have 3 mixtapes: Mitch's "XXL Vol.1", "Grand Theft Audio", and "2pac Rap Phenomenon". Although the discs don't have art on 'em, they ain't written in with a sharpie. All the mixtapes at FamBam are like that, with whoever burns 'em usually writin' the title of the mixtape in with a sharpie. Basically with all this bullshit I'm ramblin' about I'm sayin' yours most likely ain't "official". ~`1`~

chuuch vol 1 had artwork on the cd.............it sayed something like for promotional uses only if caught distributing it you'll get pimp slapped on the bottom.....and the artwork was nothing special

yeah i got vol 1 from the doggystyle website right when they posted the address.  its all official, shit even came shrinkwrapped, artwork printed on disc, and front and back covers.  i noticed in the stores that later versions of vol 1 were cdrs and the cover was changed and said Sickamore.  i burned vol 2 off the internet first, then bought it from Amoeba.  vol 2 at Amoeba is a CDR, but it had front and back artwork, but you could tell it wasn't official looking like vol 1.  funny thing too is the version from Amoeba wuz missing a few tracks (call the ambulance, so wrong, beautiful), but had a few extra tracks with Daddy V, one being It's The DOG from Daddy V's album and another with bad azz.  There really isn't an official vol 3 yet, just that sorry excuse for one that whoo kid dropped.  the only thing i can assume about vol 2 is that snoop figured he put too much money into vol 1 and started making cheaper copies, the price went up from $6 to $20 w/shirt.  or the ones most stores are carrying are str8 up boots.  thats just what i know, hope i helped, peace!!
