Limp Bizkit ft. Snoop will be HUGE hit......
« on: October 03, 2003, 02:02:58 PM »
Damn, Snoop is an incredible businessman!  He has been on some big songs lately, such as PIMP and the HORRIBLE Holidae Inn.  But i dont think either of those songs will be as big a hit as this RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT crap i've been hearing on the radio.  Its Limp Bizkits next single, and it will be a major hit in the clubs and EVERYWERE.  Snoop may disappoint us alot with who he works with and how e runs his label, but u cant deny he gets his no matter what and knows how to market himself.  peace

Well I for one, like the "Holiday Inn" song, its different, but Luda drops a dope verse, and Snoop's hook and the beat are catchy.  Im not too sure about the Snoop/Durst combo, but hey, whatever works I guess.  Hopefully it blows up.

Even tho people dont like some of these tracks Snoop's been on lately, it's getting him alot of exposure which will be great for the upcoming 213 release.

Haven't heard the limp track, because I don't listen to limp.  They suck.  Holidae Inn is awesome.

It might be a hit but it's still one wack-ass song like almost everything Snoop's done since Paid The Cost came out.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Sorry i quite like this tune (red light, green light)...been bumping it since i got the album a few weeks ago,

im not bumping it as a snoop song tho...thats the difference!

Im playing it as a limp bizkit tune as its meant to be (snoop is only a guest spot...thats all it should be treated as.)

Imo limp bizkit have done a good job putting people like jeru...cube...snoop etc on their records...because it aids hiphop on such a subtle way no-one notices.

Same as PE  / onyx etcback in the day doing spots with heavy rock / metal artists.

I dont think snoop should be hated on cos of this...at the end of the day Its Not His Song!.

Just him working with an artist he respects and that artist getting to work with someone he in turn respects...

...btw this aint about business / commercvial stuff...limp bizkit dont give a fuck on the image / who likes em...only their fans.

Oh an sounds like most of you need to check it out...only teecee heard it ?
jus remember it isnt a snoop song just one with him throwing a couple of lines and singing a hook :)

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
