I didn't say Suge did nothing, I said he wasn't the main factor. Look at Tha Row now. They have an abundance of talent IMO, but why aren't they makin' an impact in the game? Because Suge's fat ass ain't gettin' they albums out. He's too busy authorizing shitty ass 2pac remix albums. And where is Dre and Snoop? I think we all see who got the much better end outta that.
You pretty much said Suge wasn't a reason for their success. Suge WAS, keyword was, a good business man. Once Pac died, he started going in and out of jail, that was it for him. Right now his focus is on destroying Snoop, he's not focused about any of his artists. But, the label still has a lot talent.

Suge was not a good businessman then and certainly not now.  Suge had some money (some say not his own), and he muscled his way into the industry.  That's the only thing I will give him credit for. Just because you have some money does not make you a good businessman. It's what you do with the money you've made.  I hate to do this, but I must do it to prove my point....ready...Suge vs. Puffy, Deathrow vs. Bad Boy. Bad Boy is still a successful record company and Deathrow is not because Puffy (like him or not) is a BUSINESSMAN and Suge is really just a record label CEO. There is a difference.  BadBoy has changed distributers, lost Biggie, Mase, most of the original production team, they had a down period and even now I would take Deathrows talent over Bad Boys anyday.  Da Band, Puffy himself, Loon...need I say more. THE ARTIST ARE WACK.  Yet they survive and DR can't even release a talent like Crooked I....That is sad. I will not even mention Ruthless. All that talk Suge has done against Puffy/Dre/even Snoop, and look where they are and their companies are compared to his company.  Enough said......Crooked I, Eastwood and the rest of you DR Dickriders had better wake up from your dream. IT'S OVER.

I don't think a lot of people are stuck on DR because of its past, they just give DR a second chance. I'm one of those people. I don't like (like everybody here lol) that 2Pac remix album, but some of you are biting on DR among others because of Better Dayz. That was the 2Pac album I liked the least, but it was still a decent album.
I don't like Crooked I and Eastwood too much. They are those kind of rappers that need good production to make a good track cause they're nothing special themselves really. Danny Boy has always been dope and I look forward to their album. We haven't heard too much from Kurupt ever since he's with DR again, so I'm not gonna judge on him yet.

Well let me clarify....IF you like Death Row because of them, and u hate Snoop because of that, then it's no problem. What I am saying is that it's people who STILL like Death Row just because of the past, but might not even care about Crooked I or Eastwood. And they will dislike Snoop and Dre for the same reasons that Suge hates em, not because they think he's wack. It's people that will say "Snoop isn't wack but he's a bitch because he is scared of Suge knight and because he's a snitch" and "Dre is a dope producer but he is gay, doesn't make his own beats, never was gangsta" etc. etc. which is all personal reasons not relating to talent. I shoulda clarified that instead of sayin it how I did.

Yea If you think about it... Dre, Snoop, and all them, they didnt change personalities since they
left death row as far as I know, many people who never even met them in person loved them to death
back in the days and nowaydays they try to hate them just cause they're not repping their
faovorite rap crew anymore or just cause suge does like you said. that shit is funny to me.

and i dont think theres only one person responsible for the death row success back in the 90s.
suge brought the money and dre the music, they were both responsible. if it wasnt for one of them
there wouldnt be as much success...but dre was the main factor you cant deny that. proof is suge is
still there and dre's not, and the label is dead even if the label has a lot talent.

Why? Because I make a good point that you can't argue? Haha. Crooked I isn't that special? So, I guess making Chino XL look like a rookie in a cypher, destroying tracks with Ras Kass, Planet Asia, Scarface or Sly Boogy is something every rapper can do?

I'm say this once only...Whoever thinks Suge wasn't a MAJOR factor in Death Row's success is someone who does not know tha business...Tha fact that he used guerilla tactics and got MAJOR distribution which waz like WOAH in that era MADE Death Row...No way he can do what he did back then in this era because everyone is doing what he started doin except it's way easier now but at tha same time harder...tha top 10 singles of this week is all hip hop...what does that tell U? I'll let yall draw yur own conclusion...
