You missed the point. They both have great production, I can agree with that. But the lyrics aren't as good as the production which is why I don't think they are perfect.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

lyrically maybe

but production wise you kids are out of your gord to say there is a ton of albums better.

Lyrics are just as important as beats.

Not to everybody. To me, overall I'd say Beats 65%, Lyrics Voice Style Flow 35%. Maybe it's because I'm a producer, or because I grew up listenin to Jazz and old school music that focused on music over lyrics. Like Parliament, the lyrics were amuzingly simple and stupid but who cared, the music made it dope.

Thas y i think doggystyle is the best album ever, because of production first, but because his flow and voice went perfect with every song, and even tho his lyrics weren't on this new era complex multi shit, they were better than average.
