Paris - Shots Out
« on: October 12, 2003, 04:30:14 PM »
Does your copy of Guerilla Funk have this? I d/led it & it says it's track 13. My copy has 12 songs, as does the tracklisting on guerillafunk.com. It's really nothin but a skit, but the beat behind it is so damn smooth.

PS Dont respond if you don't like P-Dog.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

hey, what do you want, an effing medal?? :P ;)

(Personally I find nothing more rewarding that listening to old cassettes and then having to use a biro to spool the tape back in after it starts to chew up. You get a real sense of acheivement.)
