^^ Yup. What I'm saying is, even shit like this, that to me ain't nothing special, is fuckin' HOT and you can tell he didn't even spend any time on it. I started noticing this shit when he was on that B.I.G. album that came out after he died, and he had that awesome verse where he was giving Biggie props, then I heard somewhere he spent like 30 minutes total to record the whole thing, it was just off the top of his head, and this is while he's busy making movies and shit. I think he's at the point now where he's just happy, got millions in the bank, he's older, he's not mad at anybody anymore, he's having a good time, and he just frankly don't give a shit if he goes down as the greatest, he's just doing what he feels like doing. You take a song like "Record Company Pimpin'" off the peace disc. Everybody said that album sucked, but they're full of shit. For a CUBE album it sucked, but that shit was nice from start to finish. Listen to "Record Company Pimpin" that's tighter flow wise than about anything coming out now, and was just a lil' concept song on the end of a album nobody listened to.
^^ Can't believe nobody ever mentions it, I heard it again the other day, and was thinking how tight it is...like I've said before, usually I don't even get into songs that try to be deep, etc. but the way he did that one was just intelligent, in a plain way. His command of the game is amazing...
its a good track. i kinda like cube's versei think yall are expecting too much from this album.bow down came out a long time ago.if u expect something like it ur jus going to be disappointedim glad theyre still not rapping about the same stuff as bow down coz times have changed and they have changed.just keep an open mind. its gonna be a gr8 cd.peace
when you have three of the best rappers on the westcoast in one album and they already made a classic...its not asking too much for another...times havent changed that much...there are still rappers rapping about the same stuff now as they did back then...its just now most focus more on how much money they spent on their new watch.

Now all of these artists work with the east coast and it's no beef, so they can't rap about the same thing.
only thing left to rap about is the cars in your garage...thats like me rapping about having a big sandwich
