I see no reason whatsoever to purchase this CD.  It's got an ugly cover, the title has every word spelled wrong and content is horrible (from what I've heard).

I have all the good versions of these songs anyways, what the hell would I want this for?

I'd like to stress that it was a second-hand copy. On principle I refused to buy a copy that would mean I helped line Suge's pockets.

(most of y'all will see no surprise in the fact that the second-hand shop had a copy the day after it was released)

Got it just so that I could give an informed opinion. After playing it for a coupla days I have to be honest and say that there are some tracks with a reasonable amount going for them. 'Toss It Up' for example, is actually a great remix. And 'Life Goes On' at least sounds different to anything else out there.

In short, the CD isn't as bad as everyone makes out. BUT, that still doesn't give Suge, Tha Row Hitters (lol) or Crooked the right to do what they did.

"The Rose That Grew From Concrete" is actually a compilation of all kids of artists reciting Pac's poems. It's actually not bad, but I sold my copy for $5 to Music Trader. Anyways, I'll buy this eventually, but not right now. I agree it's not so terrible, but I also believe it shoudl've never ever been made.

I thought there were remixes (Sorry, Suge - Nu Mixxes) that sounded closer to the originals than 'Toss It Up' - 'How Do U Want It', for example.

But I honestly think they did a good job with 'Toss It Up'. I like the way the beat has more of a rolling feel than the stop-start original, and I like the new bassline - gives it more of a groove than the Makaveli version

Plus the vocals sound crisper, and you get to hear Pac's ad-libs at the end a lot clearer... never picked up on the Lil' Kim dis before...lol

Most Of The Vocals Are Louder Than The Beats, Hit Em Up Was Different As Well I Dont Know If It Was The Clean Version Or Not
