They dunno if Beckham is gonna be fit, and even if he is he only has to catch his foot slightly to brake it again, so i think it would be best if he was placed on the bench and not played to often.

Gerrard, he is injured i can't rememba what happened to him.

And that otha guy who plays for the saints, his name don't cum to mind.

Only 1 of the midfieldaz on the 1st squad which sven picked is fit to play at the moment...he seriously needs to get things organised...

Dyer & Gerrard is a big loss, it's basically the 2 best midfielders they got, and that's when I'm counting Beckham too.

i'm really most worried about gerrard, for a youngster he's sooo good.

i heard something about beckham being 'saved' for the final rounds.

i thought that was a bit presumptious since we might not make it that far

Word, I think England will get knocked out at the first stage with these quality players absent. :-/

England's best three midfielders are:

Beckham
Scholes
Butt

In that order

I agree that Backham is the best English midfielder, followed by Scholes.. but you must be on crack when saying that Butt is #3... he is not even an international player.

One

And bez: How is Dyer not important?
He is more important than Beckham, even if he's supposed to be the star.

Dyer:  Played 1 Game for England in his life: Shit Performance

I love winding people up

For real Gerrard is more skillful than Nicky Butt, but if England want to win the World Cup they need Scholes as an attacking midfielder and he can only do that if Nicky Butt is his foil behind him, tenacious tackler, marking everyone out of the game (peep Deportivo home and away in the quarters)

So he's the third most IMPORTANT player

lol

Easy now youngin.

Beckham is among the most overrated players EVER.
He basically got 2 skills: Passing & Shooting
And those 2 skills are so extreme that people seem to forget that he's slow, can't head, poor technique, and is not exactly among the toughest players.
