Along with the Tupac: Rap Phenomenon 2 mixtape and the recently released New Mix Klassicz, Tupac fans can expect more new music from the legendary emcee in the coming weeks. The Tupac: Resurrection Soundtrack features four new Pac cuts, including three songs produced by Eminem.

The first single, "Runnin (Dying To Live)" features former friends turned nemesis, Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.

"I got sent a bunch of Tupac acappellas and went crazy with them. 'Runnin'' has a chorus by Edgar Winter, and as he's singing it, you'll hear Tupac coming in, then Biggie comes in. It's kinda like they're just talking about each other and the whole drama that was going on," Em said in a statement. "Basically what I was trying to do with it was take people back to the time when that beef was happening ... now everyone looks back and realizes how ridiculous it was in the first place, especially since they started out as friends."

Slim also pops up alongside The Outlaws on "One Day At A Time" while 50 Cent joins Pac to form a death defying combo on "The Realest Killaz." The soundtrack also features, "Ghost," an exclusive Pac track that once again features Mr. Mathers' production. The set also features previously released recordings, starting with "Same Song,' Pac's cameo with Digital Underground to his more recent work.

Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, who also served as the project executive producer, is ecstatic about the forthcoming LP.

"The fact that such stars as Eminem and 50 Cent wanted to be part of this project testifies to Tupac's significance and influence. It was important too that Tupac come together with Biggie again, important for fans of both men, important for the healing process, important for the future," Afeni Shakur said in a statement. "Resurrection" represents truth, which is often painful, but it also represents hope, which is something Tupac always had."

Translation:

The fact that eminem and 50 cent are the biggest selling stars on in rap made me want them to make me some money by working with these unreleased 2Pac tracks that shoulda been left alone.  Resurrecton represents  money, and I would do anything to get it, including ruin my son's music and disapoint the real fans who listened to Pac before he was a Death Row artist and a known legend.  I thank all those that wasted their hard earned cash on the Nu-Mixx Garbage, and I hope to ruin more tracks in the future.  Please feel free to pay me and suge knight in the future if you wish to hear us ruin more classic songs.  Special shoutout to Crooked I for ruining your reputation by being on the nu-mixx of America's Most Wanted.  Oh and special thanks to Darren Vegas, for once again proving you can make a shitty beat w/ no help at all.

AcGrundy aka budsmokeronly what about this comment of Afeni?

When LAUNCH spoke to Shakur, she said that one of her favorite songs from the soundtrack is the last track, "Realest Killers" featuring 50 Cent. Shakur explained why: "It's the one with 50 Cent. I'm sorry I hope it's not a bad thing for me to say it. I know people got like, 'Whatever,' but you know I like really like it when he says (Laughing)... I love it when he says, 'Until Makavelli returns, all eyes on me.' I love it. I love it. (Laughing) I absolutely...I love it. I love it. I love it."
