Snoop Dogg in True Crime fo-shizzle

Activision confirms West-Coast rapper will be playable in its upcoming Streets of L.A.

Activision continued its True Crime: The Streets of L.A. publicity offensive today, apparently unfazed by an 11th-hour legal move to prevent the game's release. As part of the building hype to the game's November 4th ship date, Activision confirmed what has been largely known--or at least rumored--among gamers for weeks: that rapper Snoop Dogg will be an unlockable character in True Crime.

Besides being playable, the Snoop Character will be able to drive his own customized, hydraulic-enhanced convertible. Activision made no mention of whether there would be Snoop-specific missions.

Besides being in True Crime, Snoop Dogg is also featured on the game's soundtrack, along with many other West-Coast hip-hop stars. A Snoop song was also part of the Gran Turismo 3 soundtrack.

looks like they're not delaying it......maybe rappers should take a note or two
