Damn havent u guys figured out yet that is not Dre that is in charge of whats gets released or not yet???? For tha last time its JIMMY IOViNE!

Hittman didnt drop becuz of Jimmy

King Tee didnt drop becuz of Jimmy

Rakim didnt drop Becuz of Jimmy

And another thing, about MelMan leaving and shit...too me its pretty obvious that he left becuse he know that HIS projects would never drop. Why should he stay on there? Its like this..Dre got alot of producers workin on shit, but they are never allowed to be on their own and drop ther own shit. That is not up too Dre dough, cause Jimmy wont shit like that drop, becuase Jimmy wants GARANTEED Double Plat Releases all tha time and for the he needs Dre too be involved in every project 100 %. Its IS Dre fault dough that he havent the total control of his label, but maybe he dont gives a fuck.

Peace

I hated the fact that "Oh My God" didn't drop on Aftermath just as much as anyone, but both Hittman and King Tee aren't established artists b any means. Cube, Eve, and Busta all are. That's what I'm talking about. Dre just wants to sell, which is great from a business point-of-view, but like SGV said, it succs for the fans who want albums from artists such as the afore mentioned.

So why did he sign Hittman and King Tee in the first place if he knew they weren't gonna sell big numbers. King Tee could easily have dropped a dope album somewhere else, and that delay fucked up his career. And Hittman was even worse, got used to write half of 2001, then dumped basically, he has now gotta struggle to get a deal, and his career may never recover. Dre must realise that this sort of shit can fuck up peoples lifes as well as their rap careers. To me Dre is selfish as anything, he hasn't given anything back to the west since he started Aftermath, and never takes a risk on anything that he thinks may not sell. Aftermath has got to me the most overhyped label ever, and its sad that now we gonna get another Xzibit album which will most likely disappoint, have to wait probably another three years for an Ice Cube album, and have Busta Rhymes rapping over Dres beats when the whole hiphop public wants him to go back to rapping over straight hiphop beats, no electronic type shit.

That makes it all the worse. How many artists is that? 14. How many albums have we got this year? 1.

King Tee aren't established artists

You're joking right? T's been in the game since the mid-80's, released his first album in 88. He's been around just as long as Dre. Plus he put Xzibit, Tha Liks etc. in the game.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Tee's just like y'all, bu let's face facts. Who would the casual hip hop fan rather hear? King Tee or Xzibit? King Tee or Butsa Rhymes? What about East Coast heads? King Tee or Rakim?

That don't mean he's not established. He broke Xzibit, if it wasn't for King Tee, Xzibit would still be in West L.A. chilling by the Kaiser.
