I'm reading the review right now, the game will be released 11/3/2003 but I think it's already available in some stores.
The game received an overall rating of 9.0 (out of 10) and the IGN.com editor's choice award as well. This is what they said about the soundtack:

The West Coast rap scene is represented rather nicely on this sonic companion piece to Activision's violent, rogue cop game. The game, which is like a digitized impression of every Los Angeles based cop movie you can think of, just beckons for the proper whoriding musical accompaniment. Thankfully the likes of Snoop, Warren G., Bizzy Bone, and the West Side Connection step up to the plate and deliver a spate of bass tweaking burners.
