Yup the Horseman album has been leaked and i got the entire thing thanks to Raskass-central.

 ;)

Anyway production is so so but Ras and Bus rip this album apart and made Killah Priest and Kurupt seem like puffy and Nelly..

Can't wait for the official Horseman album to drop next year. IMO they need to get rid of KP and Kurupt and get Monch and chino to take over there place.

Only listened to the album once so far and its good apart from some of the beats.

Well.. right now there's no contest between KP & Kurupt and Chino & Monch. But they're born with that formation, so..

Disagree. KP never dissapoints me & Kurupt shocked me.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Killah Priest is MADD TIGHT on this cd, but the surprise is KURUPT!!!!!
I mean, i am not exactly a fan of Kurupts rhyming since the mid 90s (his last two cds were tight but his flow and lyrics werent gr8 on either).   But, Kurupt rips this cd too shreads, anyone fiending for some classic Kurupt shit get this shit NOW.  No rhyming bitch with bitch on here, str8 dope rhymes.  And Canibus kills it like noother......of course all you fools have wrote Canibus off cuz him and Em dont get along, but this guy is still a great MC.

I was listening to Beneath the Surface before I saw this thread and shook my head at the title.  Cause I was just thinking of how sick Killah Priest was on the title track of that album.

But I hadn't heard The Four Horsemen album yet so maybe KP didn't come off well.  Now I've heard it and realized you are on crack.  Do you admire Ras and 'Bis so much you don't even listen to the other two?  Shit, even Kurupt came off very nice on some of his verses.  KP sounded as good as always on this and he's every bit as lyrical as Canibus or Ras Kass, that's for sure.

I think sometimes we judge albums with a little bit of prejudices. IMO both KP and Kurupt are tight in this EP.

Couldn't agree more. KP & Kurupt actually outshined Bis & Ras on a fair amount of the tracks. People need to start judging on the actual verses not just which rapper they like more.

KP is tight and came strong but never outshined bus or Ras.

Kurupt came ok on a few tracks but overall his lyrical content was ASS cheeks.

"I multiply like multiplications"

Kurupt was ass on alot of tracks.
