Should we have a donations list?

as you may have seen in the "we're moving" thread the entrance page for www.dubcc.com now has a link where people can make donations though paypal. several kind people have donated so far.

its been suggested by someone i know (not connected to wcc) that it might be a good thing to put a list of contributors up (but not with how much they donated).

how ya'll feel?

uhh let me break out the dictionary for ya..

donation

n 1: a voluntary gift (as of money or service or ideas) made to some worthwhile cause [syn: contribution] 2: act of giving in common with others for a common purpose especially to a charity [syn: contribution]

no one -has- to pay anything! if you feel like you want or can give something back then its much appreciated, if you dont then dont.

what this thread is about is whetehr those who have donated should be put on a contributors list.

I think it's a great idea.  Eventhough I hate PayPal cause they fuck up the exchange rate.

I don't know how anyone can say no.

we were paying $35 a month, now paying $20 a month, but i paid a year in advance.. i'm kinda broke right now too, so wasnt the best of times

I'll donate but how about if your do, something like the persons karma is boosted to a positive # and cant be reduced. Bastards always giving me - karma lol.

I'm for the donation system but indifferent to having a list of people who donated.

cool... well i think maybe its a good idea to do it, but i wanted to make sure with those who have, and once its sorted - theres a precedent. ya know?

there never will be donation for karma, or not being able to be banned or anything like that.

the donations go towards the costs of running the board. no more.
