Scipio, the verbal killah representin’ Dena California, murders MC’s with his razor sharp lyrics and articulate rhymes. Showtime and Interscope Records premiere party for the reality show “The Next Episode” hosted a hip hop talent showcase at The Knitting Factory Nov. 3rd for many unsigned artists seeking recognition. Execs, with pen and paper in hand, were floored when Scipio took center stage to show off his talent, in raw form. Interscope's, Kevin Black nodded his head to the sounds being blasted by LA’s Eric Cubiche and DJ Raphiki, while all eyes on Scipio. Up against much talent, Scipio takes home the trophy for "Best Unsigned Artist". His first single, “Work Wit It” has been in heavy rotation on Los Angeles’ 100.3 THE BEAT.

“Phones are goin crazy over here!!!” states Scipio. “I just have to play my cards right and work out the best possible deal for myself and my peoples”. Scipio is referring to the one and only Ras Kass, who is currently incarcerated, and their production company Re-Up Entertainment.

The Show airs on Nov. 14 on Showtime, check local listings for time.

Also be on the lookout for Scipio's new mixtape "Young Scipio: The Mixtape", which should be out in a few weeks. It will be available in all the Mom & Pop stores in Southern California, and should soon after hit other regions. The mixtape is mostly himself, but he also got two tracks with Ras Kass on there, and production by Jelly Roll. So make sure to check all of this out!
