My jaw dropped when I saw this thread. Literally. I love all the songs I've heard so far, did you like the whole CD Overseer?

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Well its a decent album.  Definately a big dissapointment, not even touching bow down.  I was hoping this would be the best album of the year for the westcoast (which it may be, but thats not saying much at all)  Keep this in mind I'm not your avg rap listener.  I'm sure this album will be successful, I'm sure it will sell well.  All three rappers bring dope raps to each song, it's mostly the beats that water it down.  I wish they would have stuck with Budd'ah and DJ Crazy Toons.  The beats are too "happy/positive/commercial" sounding for me.  Doesn't go well w/ WSC.  It has some definate bangers such as: Call 9-1-1, Potential Victems, Gangsta Nations, Lights Out.... everything else is avg imo and needs harder beats.  Again, the faggets buying music nowadays may probably luv this and it will do well...but for me personally it is dissapointing...I had very high hopes.  The Eastsidaz bootleg is def better than this imo.
