n e ways why are there comparisons to Bow Down???
that was a totally different era in rap music

this is now and things have changed, the only song i have heard is terrorist threats and gangsta nations and those 2 songs are dope

im not expecting another bow down so ill doubt i will be dissapointed as some of u are

What the fuck is that gonna matter?  Unless they change a lot of the beats on the final album I'm gonna have the same exact opinion.  And usually albums are the same exact as the IRC rips.  Your a fool to say this album even begins to see Bow Down.  I am no hater, I am just giving an unbiased realistic review.  Bow Down is a classic.  Cube said Terrorist Threats is better, and so did mack 10.  It is no where near as good.  WTF are they thinking?

Nice album. I didn't like it much at first but it grew on me after repeated listens. "Gangsta Nation" I think is the best song, "Call 9-1-1" "Get Ignit" & "Lights Out" is nice too. Nothing strikes me as downright bad - although there is a few average joints on there.

And unfortunately there's a LOT of weak Ice Cube verses on this shit (WAY past his prime :(), Mack 10 & WC holds it down decently though, but still the emceeing leaves a lot to be desired - they def. could have stepped their game up for this release, I think. :(

Like I said it's a good album - just nothing that stands out as AMAZING. Probably the best west coast release of 2003, but that doesn't really say much. I hope it blows up and gives the West some exposure though. :)
