Yeah, that's cool. Good to see he's still producing, but I love how he raps. He's my favorite rapper ever, shit, he's my favorite artist ever. Guess I gotta find a new fav. now. :'( :'(

Props.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

It was Knoc who said that.

what i don't get about quik is, he says he loves making music and fuck the fame and all of that......but everytime he puts out a cd, he gets mad cause it doesn't sell..... i mean he already has a well established fan base....he should be more like too short... just keep dropping cd's because that's what he loves to do.....we're his fans, we'll support dj quik

I still think that he'll come back and release more albums. He feels fucked up cause he aint gettin the media recognition and sells he deserves so hehe says he's done wit rappin but he should see he got the street recognition, the fans. He's considered as one of the greatest (if not the greatest) producer in hiphop and he's got an amazing flow and funny lyrics. I believe that when he gets his head straight and those feelings stop, he'll come back and bless us with another banging DJ QUIK cd. I hope so.
